About The Position

Maintains assigned customer facilities in a clean, safe, and orderly condition by performing a variety of custodial, housekeeping, and light facility maintenance duties. This position may require servicing multiple locations during a scheduled shift.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must maintain proof of current automobile insurance.
Ability to travel independently between assigned facilities during the workday.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedures, and work-related communications.
Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions and solve routine work-related problems.

Nice To Haves

Less than a high school education; or
Up to one month of related experience or training; or
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Polishes metalwork.
Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties wastebaskets and trash receptacles.
Transports trash and waste to designated disposal areas.
Replenishes restroom supplies.
Replaces light bulbs as needed.
Performs seasonal duties, including grass trimming and snow removal when required by the site contract.
Delivers messages or materials as needed.
Transports small equipment, tools, or supplies between departments or work locations.
Assists with setting up tables, chairs, and other equipment for meetings or events.
Travels between assigned work locations during scheduled shifts to complete required cleaning responsibilities and ensure coverage needs are met.
