SP+ is seeking an experienced FT JANITOR for their Portland Maintenance team. SP+ is an artificial intelligence company for the real world, using computer vision to enable checkout-free parking experiences. They are the largest parking network in America, with over 23,000 employees powering mobility at over 4,000 locations across North America and Europe. They are reinventing parking to make everyday experiences of living, working, and playing remarkable by giving back time. Responsibilities include performing all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted on checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure all dirt, dust, litter, and debris are removed from all areas of the facility using brooms, mops, brushes, and other hand tools. This includes making multiple rounds daily to pick up and discard trash and debris, emptying trash receptacles inside and out, noting and reporting burned-out light bulbs and equipment malfunctions, cleaning all spills, and submitting requests for repairs or maintenance. The role requires adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations, cleaning all restrooms, keeping an inventory of janitorial supplies, and maintaining a daily janitorial service sheet. The Janitor will operate commercial cleaning equipment as applicable, shovel and clean snow from entrance/exit ramps and designated areas, and report any observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager in a timely manner. The position also involves practicing the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and Five Customer Service Behaviors, assisting customers, and resolving customer complaints. The Janitor must be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties as needed, maintaining a neat and clean appearance and wearing a complete uniform during scheduled shifts. Other duties may be assigned.
