About The Position

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bakery. This role ensures that all areas, including production spaces, restrooms, and common areas, are kept clean and sanitary. The Janitor will adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a janitor or cleaning crew member
• Experience with chemicals and/or wet floors is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing floors in all areas of the offices, restrooms, and non-manufacturing areas.
• Keeping up with Janitorial documentation and check list and able to turn in a timely manner.
• Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste according to health and safety regulations, including recycling.
• Following all health and safety guidelines, using cleaning chemicals and equipment as instructed, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies, keeping inventory of the supplies needed to get through the day to day task.
