About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of various areas within a manufacturing environment. The janitor will perform a range of cleaning tasks, including sanitizing bathrooms, maintaining break areas, keeping lobby areas presentable, and servicing office spaces. The position requires adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines and may involve additional duties as assigned. The work environment includes potential heat extremes and requires the ability to work at heights and perform medium physical labor.

Requirements

• Ability to work at heights more than 20 feet with appropriate safety equipment
• Frequent walking, climbing, and standing
• Medium work (up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently)

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
• Maintain cleanliness of break areas, including tables, countertops, and appliances
• Keep lobby areas clean, organized, and presentable
• Clean and service office spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizers
• Remove and properly dispose of waste and recyclables
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Perform additional duties as necessary to support overall facility cleanliness
