About The Position

In conjunction with the Ballpark Operations Department, the Janitor Crew maintains Angel Stadium by cleaning and detailing suites, restaurants, offices, locker rooms, press rooms, and other stadium and premium areas. This seasonal, part-time bargaining-unit position follows a schedule dependent on game and non-game days. Typical shifts are 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. for games starting after 6:00 p.m.; 4:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. for games starting between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.; and 12:15 a.m.–8:45 a.m. for games starting at 1:00 p.m. Candidates must be able to work the listed start times. Positions are available starting November 2026. Pay is $16.90 per hour through December 31, 2026, and $17.40 per hour effective January 1, 2027. The position is eligible for sick time after 90 days of employment and 12 complimentary game tickets per season.

Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean, maintain, and detail stadium areas, including offices, suites, restaurants, locker rooms, and press rooms, using various cleaning methods.
Care for stadium equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning items, reporting broken or damaged items, and alerting management to mistreatment of property.
Keep Janitor Crew storage areas organized and stock supplies throughout the building.
Promptly respond to and resolve cleaning and setup issues as directed by staff and management.
Operate industrial cleaning equipment as needed, such as vacuum cleaners, extractors, and floor buffers.
Follow department procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment, supply closets, vehicles, radio etiquette, and hazardous materials.
Perform other operational duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
