About The Position

Responsive recruiter American Swim Academy is hiring a part-time custodial member for our Fremont location. The custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functioning environment for our members and staff; this includes the interior and exterior of the swim school.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate with members, co-workers, school management, and Area Staff in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, up to 8 hours.
• Ability to bend, squat, and reach in order to clean for the duration of the shift, up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift 0 - 25 pounds.
• Ability to carry out written and oral instructions.
• Ability to arrive on schedule and maintain regular attendance.
• Ability to respond appropriately to direction from a supervisor.
• Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to recognize potential hazards and respond appropriately.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the cleaning tasks listed, including frequent walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to use all appropriate cleaning solutions in a safe and approved manner.
• Ability to clean the facility with minimal interruption to members and staff.
• Ability to clean in a busy family environment while being friendly and courteous to members.
