We are currently seeking a compassionate person to join our talented team as a Janitorial Technician. This is a full-time position. Sunday through Thursday. Wage is $20.29 to $21.23 per hour DOE. As a Janitorial Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all interior and exterior areas of our beautiful campus are attractive, clean, and well-maintained. Your high-energy, dedicated attitude toward your work will allow residents to rest easy, knowing their homes and surroundings are in good hands. Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have experience maintaining and cleaning swimming pools.
• Be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English in order to effectively communicate with residents and team members.
• Have the physical ability to perform tasks that require continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.
• Ability to lift and work with up to 50 pounds throughout a shift using proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all interior and exterior areas of our beautiful campus are attractive, clean, and well-maintained.
• Walk outside every day to make sure sidewalks, landscaping, entryways, and parking lots are free of debris, litter, and dog waste.
• Monitor the garbage and recycling areas on campus.
• Clean windows, remove cobwebs, and remove snow and/or ice.
• Ensure a “white glove” standard of presentation in all of the office and common areas.
• Perform a variety of custodial duties, such as stripping, waxing, and buffing floors.
• Clean carpets.
• Sanitize kitchen and lavatory facilities.
• Maintain the swimming pool (chemicals, temperature, and cleanliness).
• Empty garbage receptacles.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
