As a Janitor, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining spaces that support individuals with disabilities, staff, and visitors every day. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated
- Comfort working in an environment serving individuals with disabilities
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Willingness to perform both indoor and outdoor tasks throughout the year
Nice To Haves
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning of floors, walls, windows, restrooms, and office areas
- Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment (vacuums, floor machines, etc.)
- Ensure spaces are consistently clean, organized, and presentable
- Handle seasonal outdoor duties including lawn care and snow removal
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Work independently while also interacting respectfully with staff and participants
- Support a positive, safe environment for everyone in the building
