About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part Time Janitor to join our team in Bakersfield, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. The Janitor will support Fortis Native Group and will report to the project manager. This position would be 100% onsite. Please note that the clearance process with the FAA often takes 4-6 weeks.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the facility.
- Hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Applicants must receive favorable background and drug screen results and meet eligibility requirements for access to government computer systems and or facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Maintain restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
- Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Benefits
- Health & Welfare Benefit: Additional $5.09/hour (up to 40 hours per week)
