About The Position

The Kaw Nation is seeking a Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of at least two buildings. This role involves regular cleaning tasks, supply management, and reporting maintenance needs to the supervisor. The position requires the ability to perform physical tasks and adhere to specific cleaning protocols.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to keep at least two (2) buildings clean and in an orderly manner.
Lifting and bending may be involved on a continuous basis.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and move freely without restriction.
Must submit to an employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Keep assigned area dusted, vacuumed, and trash emptied, including windowsill and blinds. Do not bother anything or clean employee desktops. Do not clean or bother any computers.
Wash windows inside on a periodic schedule. Outside windows will be professionally cleaned.
Ensures that janitorial/housekeeping supplies are replenished.
Clean and sanitize all bathrooms daily. Keep paper towels and toilet tissue stocked.
Mop and sweep tile floors daily.
Clean air vents on an as needed basis.
Vacuum all carpeted areas and treat any spots on the carpet.
Keep the parking lots clear of paper and debris.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and move freely without restriction.
Report any problem that should require knowledge of specific training to repair or correct to Immediate Supervisor.
Assist with/complete any other job duties that might be assigned.
