About The Position

The Janitor / Facilities Cleaner plays an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and compliant workspaces across RK Pharma facilities. This position helps ensure that offices, manufacturing areas, and common spaces meet cleanliness, safety, and GMP expectations. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within structured routines. Success comes from consistency, care, and taking pride in work that supports everyone else doing their jobs safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions (English preffered)
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Comfort performing routine, physical, and repetitive tasks
• Attention to detail and care in completing work
• Willingness to follow safety, hygiene, and site rules
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment safely
• Ability to work around manufacturing and office environments
• Compliance with PPE, safety, and hygiene requirements

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities cleaning roles
• Experience working in regulated, industrial, or GMP environments
• Familiarity with cleaning logs or documentation

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and production support spaces
• Follow approved cleaning procedures and schedules, including GMP-related requirements where applicable
• Properly handle and store cleaning supplies and equipment
• Document cleaning activities as required
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or unusual conditions promptly
• Support special cleaning needs (e.g., spill response, inspections, shutdowns) as requested
• Work respectfully and cooperatively with Manufacturing, Quality, and Facilities teams
