Janitor PR02- A Shift-Council Bluffs Prepared
About The Position
This position starts at $19.95/hr. with a second shift increase and potential for overtime. Tasks Applicant will be responsible for janitorial work including; Cleaning offices, restrooms, common areas, Vacuuming, mopping, and buffing floors through the common areas Trash disposal, taken inside production areas. Applicant must be willing to clean outside areas in all weather conditions. Applicant must be willing to do laundry and assist in managing supplies. Applicant must sanitize all designated areas where team members may congregate, break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, hand wash stations, office areas. Complete necessary paperwork and submit daily. All other duties assigned
Requirements
- Willing and able to read and understand Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and cleaning supply labels, MSDS sheets
- Basic math skills are needed to calculate chemical dilution proportions for safe use
- Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required
- Willing and able to occasional assisted lifting of up to 30 lbs., push or pull 30lbs
- Willing and able to Operate heavy vibrating buffer
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Willing and able to work in temperatures ranging from 20 to 50 degrees and requires standing 8 to 12 hours per day
- Willing and able to work a rotating schedule
- At least nine (9) months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last twelve months
- Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment
- Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner
- Successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
