About The Position

ICON Injection Molding is a manufacturing company in North Phoenix specializing in custom plastic injection molding. We were founded in 2001 by three brothers and continue to be a family-oriented company. We have ~57,000 sq. ft between three adjacent facilities that includes both the manufacturing plant and offices. We are currently seeking a janitor/cleaner to maintain the cleanliness in all aspects of all of these facilities. Our ongoing commitment is to Excellence from Art to Part and we are seeking employees who will exemplify this to make our facilities beautiful and tour-ready at all times. We are seeking someone with knowledge of basic janitorial protocol (including the cleaning of offices and industrial settings). This person will need to be able to clean all aspects of the facilities including but not limited to general cleaning (dusting, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and etcetera), the cleaning of heavy machinery and industrial equipment, floor buffing, trash removal, basic grounds-keeping, and the cleaning of any messes that occur (such as water leaks, oil spills, plastic spills, and etcetera). We prefer someone with prior experience in professional janitorial services.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic janitorial protocol (including the cleaning of offices and industrial settings).
Ability to clean all aspects of the facilities including but not limited to general cleaning (dusting, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and etcetera), the cleaning of heavy machinery and industrial equipment, floor buffing, trash removal, basic grounds-keeping, and the cleaning of any messes that occur (such as water leaks, oil spills, plastic spills, and etcetera).

Responsibilities

Keep all ICON locations in a clean and orderly condition.
Understand the orderly condition of all the various locations at ICON.
Keep floors clean in all areas of ICON by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Gather trash and empty into main container to be picked up by trash collectors.
Maintain bathrooms and break rooms, including servicing, cleaning, and stocking supplies (not including the washing of any dishes).
Keep other areas of ICON clean through basic duties such as dusting, washing, scrubbing, organizing, and etcetera.
Perform any basic upkeep including maintenance of the aesthetics of the ICON property, as well as watering any plants, washing any windows, and etcetera.
Safely clean any heavy machinery on the production floor and in warehouse areas, as needed.
Perform any non-routine cleaning for any messes that occur.
Perform any non-routine cleaning such as spot cleaning and sanitization.
Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies.
Alert proper management of any possible safety hazards, or necessary repairs.
