The Janitor is responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas, keeping individual and facility safety at the forefront of their responsibilities. Assigned cleaning areas can include the kitchen, bathrooms, office, breakrooms, and locker rooms. Cleaning tasks involve dusting, scrubbing and cleaning restrooms, wiping down tables and countertops, and maintaining overall tidiness. The role also includes sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using industrial equipment, cleaning areas using ladders, moving furniture, boxes, and equipment as needed, and emptying trash cans.
