About The Position
The Janitor performs routine building cleaning tasks to maintain clean and safe facilities and grounds at CMI’s customer site in Artesia, NM. This work is manual in nature and requires a variety of physical demands.
Requirements
- A working knowledge of building cleaning practices supplies and equipment
- Knowledge of proper use of a wide range of chemicals according to the state federal regulations handling
- Knowledge of disposing of hazardous materials and blood borne pathogens
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of janitorial and custodial assignments such as mopping, cleaning walls
- Perform semi-skilled and skilled duties in other trade areas as required
- Perform other work as assigned or required on the contract
