About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the main employee center/breakroom, including floors, tables, walls, and windows. The role also involves laundering towels and clothing, cleaning showers and bathrooms, and maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies. Additional duties may include cleaning the front lobby, employee entrance foyer, smoking area, emptying trash, dusting, and cleaning office shelves and desks. The jobsite is a biosecure environment requiring specific hygiene protocols and adherence to company guidelines.

Requirements

No disciplinary actions within the last 6 months, a point level
Must use safe lifting techniques.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to regularly bend, stoop and reach above head.
Regularly required to stand majority of shift (concrete floor); walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
Willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).
Willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Maintain main employee center/breakroom including floors, tables, walls and windows and mopping breakroom, bathroom, offices, and office hallway floors.
Launder towels and clothing to maintain an adequate daily supply.
Clean women’s and men’s showers and bathrooms (dirty and clean side).
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform Coordinator Operations and/or Manager Production Hatchery of supplies needing to be ordered.
Maintains hand sanitizers, cleans front lobby and tm entrance foyer, cleans smoking area, empties trash, and takes trash to dumpsters, dusting/cleaning office shelves/desks.
