About The Position
Under general supervision, perform tasks to ensure proper janitorial and light maintenance of production and office areas.
Requirements
- One to two years of experience in janitorial/light maintenance
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasks
- Ability to perform physical activities requiring bending, kneeling and pulling/pushing
- Valid driver's license, clean DMV printout is required
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100% of the time
Responsibilities
- Cleaning/sanitizing the production area, including equipment, break room, restroom and office area of the Lab
- Stripping, mopping and buffing production floors
- Disposing of all trash bins in designated receptacles including recycling receptacles
- Performing minor equipment and facility repairs
- Performing preventive maintenance
- Monitoring and maintaining janitorial/maintenance supplies
- Operating company equipment in a safe manner
- Reporting any vehicle problems and defects to Department Lead
- Maintaining a good driving record
- Other duties as assigned
