About The Position

The Janitor position is a full-time role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, office areas, shop, showroom, and parts warehouse. This role involves daily cleaning tasks, trash and recycling removal, supply replenishment, window cleaning, and operating cleaning equipment. The Janitor will also report maintenance needs, follow safety procedures, and perform light facility maintenance duties.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and follow a cleaning schedule
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment and in shop environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and reaching for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience, especially in industrial or automotive environments, is a plus

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office areas daily
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or scrub floors in all areas including shop, showroom, and parts warehouse
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials throughout the facility
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and display areas as needed
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and power washers
• Report any maintenance needs, damages, or safety issues to the Facility Manager
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE when in shop or service areas
• Perform other light facility maintenance duties as assigned (e.g., changing light bulbs, shoveling walkways, etc.)
