Able to mix chemicals and follow procedures for the use of cleaners and power equipment. A professional and positive image must be consistently displayed by the employee.

Requirements

Ability to navigate electronic devices (computers, fax machines, printers, timeclock, etc).
Experience and understanding of the commercial issues in aviation.
High School diploma, GED
At least 18 years of age
Capable of processing information in a timely manner
Must have and maintain a Valid Driver's License
Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
Basic computer literacy
Previous ramp or airline experience
Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment
Must clear a FBI fingerprint background check

Responsibilities

Report to work on a regular and timely basis.
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
Gather trash and empty cans; service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment as well as cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures.
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Steam-clean and shampoo carpets; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
Move freely, reach, bend, and twist in confined spaces to hand clean.
Operate vehicles and/or equipment required to perform or travel to cleaning site including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
Use cognitive skills to check condition, clean, sort, count, salvage, and/or store equipment.
Work as a team or independently without direct supervision.
