About The Position

Total Facility Care (TFC) is hiring a part-time evening Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept facility. The role includes daily janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash removal. The Janitor safely operates cleaning equipment, responds to spills, secures areas after hours, manages time effectively while working independently, keeps cleaning supplies stocked, and reports repair needs to a supervisor.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The posting lists benefits for full-time employees; it does not specify that these benefits apply to this part-time role.

Requirements

• Handle basic cleaning tasks and other janitorial work.
• Be able to use basic cleaning equipment.
• Manage time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.

• Have basic math skills.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the building in good condition.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment, including a backpack vacuum.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills using appropriate equipment.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
