Janitor - Part Time
About The Position
Fortis Industries is interviewing for a Government Contract Part-Time Janitor for our contract in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Custodian’s job is to clean and keep in an orderly condition working areas, washrooms, and premises of an office and other establishment. This involves a combination of sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors, removing chips, trash and other refuse, dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures, polishing metal fixtures or trimmings, providing supplies, and performing minor maintenance services. The role also includes cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms, and disinfecting high-touch areas. The position requires the ability to follow directions, comprehend job requirements, and collaborate with co-workers or the Leadership Team. The job is physically demanding, requiring the capacity to move, carry, and store various items, and clean rooms full of furniture, floors, and carpets.
Requirements
- Must pass agency and federal background checks
- Must pass Federal drug screen
- Confirmation that you are authorized to work in the US
- High School Diploma
- Physical capacity to perform demanding tasks
- COVID Vaccination required
- Meet eligibility requirements for access to government computer systems and/or facilities

Benefits
- $5.09 Health and Welfare (up to 40 hours) benefit allowance, which may be taken as additional hourly pay resulting in an effective wage of $22.84
