About The Position

Tessera is seeking a motivated, reliable Janitor with a professional attitude to perform cleaning tasks on an assigned route across Joint Base Lewis-McChord, working directly with a teammate. The position is based in Lakewood, Washington, and is full-time, non-exempt, and scheduled for the day shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Employees must be able to work the full scheduled shift. Compensation is $23.51 per hour. The role includes cleaning restrooms, offices, halls, high-traffic areas, entrances and exits, trash areas, stairwells, and showers; restocking supplies; and keeping the janitorial supply closet or locker clean and organized. Duties are performed according to assigned schedules and include following cross-contamination procedures where applicable. Requirements

Hold a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance carrier.
Be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
Provide a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, to access the federal military installation.
Complete the position's background check and E-Verify process.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Be able to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for extended periods; duties may also require climbing in and out of a vehicle and using stairs. Physical functions may be reasonably accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls, and doors; restock supplies, remove trash, replace liners, and sweep and mop floors while following cross-contamination procedures.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum office areas according to schedule.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum halls and high-traffic areas according to schedule.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum entrances and exits and clean entry doors according to schedule.
Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, and shower and locker areas according to schedule.
Restock supplies according to schedule.
Dust restrooms and shower and locker areas according to schedule.
Clean stairwells by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping handrails.
Clean shower stalls, damp-wipe for dust, restock supplies, and mop floors while following cross-contamination procedures.
Keep the janitorial supply closet or locker clean and organized.
Work with a teammate on an assigned cleaning route across Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
