About The Position

Continental Management has a full and/or possibly part-time Janitor position available at an apartment community in the Holt, MI/Lansing, MI area. The role involves working with the maintenance staff and under the supervision of the Community Manager to assist with the upkeep and general cleanliness of the physical property. This includes ensuring building interiors remain clean, keeping walkways and grounds free of debris, and performing snow removal in the winter if needed. The position requires sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming floors of apartment and common area interiors as scheduled. Responsibilities also include handling all trash removal on premises, inspecting common areas for rubbish, assisting in the final cleaning of vacant units, preparing lists of needed janitorial supplies, and maintaining proper inventory. Grounds work and delivery of notices/newsletters are also part of the duties. Other tasks and special projects may be assigned. The individual must be willing and able to work in areas necessary for the proper up-keep of the property, as determined by supervisors based on available staffing.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a dependable vehicle.
Must pass a criminal background check.
