About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of airport terminal areas. Key duties include cleaning restrooms, seating areas, gates, hallways, and public spaces, as well as managing trash receptacles and floor care. The position also involves replenishing restroom supplies, responding to spills and hazards, and ensuring high-touch surfaces are clean. Adherence to safety protocols for chemicals and equipment, reporting maintenance issues, and supporting deep cleaning tasks are essential. The janitor must follow all airport safety, security, and company policies, and may be asked to assist during busy periods or special events, maintaining professionalism in passenger-facing areas. Other duties may be assigned as requested.

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize airport terminal areas, including restrooms, seating areas, gates, hallways, and public spaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness standards
- Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissue
- Clean spills and respond promptly to cleanliness or safety hazards
- Maintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces such as handrails, counters, and door handles
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or facility concerns to supervisors
- Support deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or assigned
- Follow all airport safety, security, and company policies
- Assist with cleaning support during high-traffic periods or special events
- Maintain professionalism while working in passenger-facing environments
- Perform other duties as requested
