About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning the kitchen area, dish room areas, and bathrooms according to a provided cleaning schedule. The role involves following established policies and procedures of the Dietary Department, maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment, and adhering to safety rules when using equipment. The Janitor will also observe residents and report any changes in their condition to the Charge Nurse.

Requirements

Must be 15 years of age or older.
Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions, document tasks completed.
Must be able to follow directions given by Manager.
