About The Position
National Star Services, a facility management company with 27 years of nationwide service, is seeking a Janitor/Cleaner for its Birmingham, AL 35214 location. This is a full-time position.
Requirements
- Two valid, updated forms of ID.
- Must have experience in Janitorial/ Cleaning services.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
- Must be ready to start working as soon as possible.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and degrease shop floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Clean and sanitize office common areas.
- Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and workstations as directed.
- Clean the interiors of trucks (sometimes when needed).
- Collect and dispose of trash properly.
- Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and shop materials.
- Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
