About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning assigned areas in commercial and government facilities to an acceptable level of quality. The Janitor must possess a working knowledge of janitorial terms and perform tasks within established time standards. This role requires adherence to all Agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, including CARF, OSHA, and the Department of Labor. Performance standards are subject to inspection by government officials. Additionally, the role involves warehouse support such as bailing cardboard, returning empty skids, and cleaning spills.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be a licensed insured driver.
• Ability to read or identify names of chemicals on containers.
• Experience with proper use of chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.
• Ability to read and identify chemical labels on containers.
• Experience with proper use of janitorial chemicals and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing high/low dusting, vacuuming, and emptying trash.
• Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures to meet high health and safety standards.
• Perform dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, scrubbing, and carpet spot cleaning.
• Clean computer rooms, glass surfaces, and polish furniture, chrome, and stainless steel.
• Adhere to all Agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements including CARF, OSHA, and the Department of Labor.
• Maintain performance standards subject to inspection by government officials.
• Assist with bailing cardboard, returning empty skids, and cleaning spills in stocking aisles as required.
