We are currently seeking a compassionate person to join our talented team as a Janitorial Technician. This is a full-time position. Wage is $20.29 to $21.23 per hour DOE

Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have experience maintaining and cleaning swimming pools
  • Be willing to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English in order to effectively communicate with residents and team members, and have the physical ability to perform tasks that require continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
  • Ability to lift and work with up to 50 pounds throughout a shift using proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all interior and exterior areas of our beautiful campus are attractive, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Walk outside every day to make sure sidewalks, landscaping, entryways and parking lots are free of debris, litter and dog waste.
  • Monitor the garbage and recycling areas on campus.
  • Clean windows, remove cobwebs, and remove snow and/or ice.
  • Ensure a “white glove” standard of presentation in all of the office and common areas.
  • Perform a variety of custodial duties, such as stripping, waxing and buffing floors.
  • Clean carpets.
  • Sanitize kitchen and lavatory facilities.
  • Maintain the swimming pool (chemicals, temperature, and cleanliness).
  • Empty garbage receptacles.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
