Requirements
Must have high school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write and understand written English.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to give a verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends within reason.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
Gather and empty trash and take all trash to appropriate dumpsters.
Launder rags.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean windows, dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Mix water and detergents in appropriate containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
Steam clean or shampoo carpets, strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
Drive vehicles to required locations to perform cleaning duties.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors, building walls, and grounds.
Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies either manually or by using hand trucks.
Notify managers concerning the need for equipment and building repairs.
Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using tractor plow, snow blowers, snow shovels, ice chippers, and spread snow melting chemicals.
Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs and ladders to prepare facilities for events such as meetings and other work events.
