About The Position

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across Weatherby's facilities, including offices, production areas, and common spaces. This role ensures that all areas are clean, stocked, and well-maintained, supporting employee well-being and operational efficiency. Success in this role requires consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read and apply safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, conference rooms, lobby areas, and production spaces.
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, hallways, and stairways.
  • Remove trash and recycling and replace liners.
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including grounds and parking lots.
  • Clean and maintain windows and surfaces.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Select appropriate cleaning materials and tools.
  • Perform basic maintenance of custodial equipment.
  • Report repair needs to Facilities Maintenance Manager.
  • Support a clean and safe workplace.
