About The Position

This position is set aside for people with disabilities and requires documented proof of disability prior to the interview. The position is located in Washington, DC, and is a Snow Detail site, meaning the employee must work during the snow/ice season to shovel snow from sidewalks and pathways. The core working hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The hourly wage is $19.03. This position requires successful completion of a criminal history information background check and drug screening, and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Requirements

Must be able to stand 80% of the work time, walk 15%, and sit 5%
Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach
Must be able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers
Must be able to see, have depth perception and tell colors for safety reasons and to distinguish between chemicals
Must have three to six months training or experience, or be capable of learning to perform the essential functions
Must be able to pass security clearance for designated contracts
Must successfully complete criminal history information background check and drug screening
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Must work during snow/ice season - shovel snow from sidewalks and pathways
