About The Position
We are looking for a hardworking, trustworthy janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our facility. This temp-to-permanent role involves routine cleaning, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and take ownership of their responsibilities.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and supplies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good time management and reliability.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and cleaning products.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
- Clean restrooms and restock supplies.
- Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Clean windows, glass doors, and fixtures.
- Refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
- Report needed repairs or supply shortages.
- Maintain janitorial equipment in working order.
- Follow safety protocols and cleaning schedules.
- Assist with event setup or emergency cleanups when needed.
