National Star Services, a leading facility management company with over 27 years of industry experience, is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to support our Janitors team across our client’s facility located in Des Plaines, IL 60018. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing various areas, maintaining floors, managing waste, and ensuring a safe and organized facility.
Requirements
- Authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
- Slip-resistant shoes required for safety
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift as required by the role
- Availability to start working asap
Nice To Haves
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, production areas, restrooms, and break rooms
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in high-traffic areas
- Remove trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures
- Clean equipment surfaces, tables, and workstations to prevent contamination
- Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance or safety issues
- Support a safe, organized, and audit-ready facility at all times
