About The Position

Challenge Unlimited is seeking a Janitor for the Highland I-70 Rest Stop. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining restrooms and other areas. Due to privacy considerations related to cleaning women's restrooms, this position has a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) exception requiring a female janitor. Challenge Unlimited is dedicated to providing employment services to people with disabilities and intentionally hires candidates with disabilities. Requirements

Pass federal and state background checks.
Be at least 21 years old.
Have a valid driver's license.
Pass driving background checks.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
Ability to push and pull up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, and stainless steel areas.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and stairs.
Empty trash and various recyclable cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary.
Dust and clean office areas, desks, and furniture that are not cluttered.
Clean windowsills and windows.
Obtain tools necessary for the job.
Clean break rooms and other applicable areas.
Safely operate equipment.
Contribute to teamwork by training and helping co-workers.
Drive between the Eastbound and Westbound rest stops.
Perform duties with a special focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
