About The Position
The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the fitness center. This role requires the ability to work independently, interact positively with members and staff, and be available for flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed. The Janitor will also assist in developing a cleaning schedule and must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to clean without interruption
- Friendly with members and other staff
- Able to work 30-40 hours a week
- Able to work nights /weekends on some occasions, if needed
- Good communication skills
- Strong safety skills
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the fitness center, including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and any other method of cleaning deemed necessary.
- Assist in creating a proper cleaning schedule for the center
- Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook
