About The Position

This position maintains the office building, shower facility and main employee center breakroom in a sanitary and orderly condition, including laundering towels and clothes as necessary. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months.
Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).
Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
Must use safe lifting techniques.
Must regularly push or pull laundry carts (wheeled cart) weighing up to 50 lbs. and will occasionally push or pull cart of supplies up to 125 lbs.
Regular attendance and timeliness is required.
Must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.

Previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.

Responsibilities

Launder towels and clothing to maintain an adequate daily supply.
Maintain main employee center, including floors, walls, windows and dusting/cleaning shelves and desks in order to ensure everything is kept in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition, order supplies, maintain inventory and help with the storage building.
Maintain both the clean and dirty side of the shower rooms, including filling nail brushes, shampoo, soap, cleaning bathroom, showers and shower curtains.
Maintain and assist with housekeeping standards in the working areas; inspect birds to determine quality and progress by weighing birds weekly; sanitation of storage areas, breakroom, boot rooms, equipment, and vehicles, cleaning incinerators; moving birds, grounds-keeping and organizing breeder tags; properly euthanize selected or weak/ill birds in accordance with company policy; operate a high pressure and regular water hose, maintains foot pans and hand sanitizer, maintains a clean and organized work area.
