Requirements

Proven experience working as a Janitorial Supervisor.
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle (gas compensation provided).
Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
Excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervising the work activities performed by janitorial staff.
Scheduling staff shifts.
Monitoring staff attendance.
Reporting absences.
Conducting staff performance reviews.
Making recommendations to management regarding promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
Assigning janitorial duties to staff and inspecting their work to ensure standards are met.
Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to staff.
Taking inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted.
Providing training and guidance to janitorial staff.
Resolving conflicts between janitorial staff.
Attending meetings and in-service training sessions.
Performing janitorial duties in instances of staff shortages.
