Janitor - Public Area Cleaner
About The Position
The Ingleside Hotel and Springs Water Park in Pewaukee is looking for a detail-oriented, friendly person to join our Housekeeping team. This is a full-time position (30+ hrs/wk) with a wage of $15.75/hr, increasing to $16.75 on weekends. The schedule is generally 3pm-11pm, including weekends, though the start time can be flexible. The role involves keeping the public areas of the hotel and water park properly cleaned and well-maintained, including locker rooms, restrooms, hallways, and lobbies, as well as wiping down tables and chairs. The position also requires carrying a radio to communicate regarding needed deliveries to guest rooms.
Requirements
- Able to complete a pre-employment background check.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Clean all public areas and keep rechecking within a regular time frame, set by the supervisor. (Examples include: restrooms, locker rooms, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal).
- Clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment and tools.
- Communicate in English with front desk to deliver items to guest rooms.
