About The Position
Janitor Journeyman Must ensure the buildings are tidy, clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in the industrial industry.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work on foot for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Any Photo ID Acceptable.

Responsibilities
- Comply with company Safety Policies and Procedures
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures
- Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles
- Keeping buildings free from indoor pests
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment
- Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours
- Collaborating with contract cleaning services
- Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
- Other duties as assigned.
