Requirements

  • Proficient in standard cleaning methods and proper use of cleaning equipment.
  • Efficiently manages time to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods.
  • Understands basic safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to prevent accidents.
  • Meticulous in performing cleaning duties to ensure all areas are thoroughly maintained.
  • Skilled in operating and maintaining cleaning machinery, such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.
  • Capable of performing manual tasks and sustaining physical activity throughout the workday.
  • Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Maintains cleaning supplies and reports when stocks need replenishing.
  • Consistently punctual and dependable in completing assigned tasks.
  • Keeps cleaning tools and materials arranged and maintained in an orderly manner.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. The ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (i.e., 'Green Card holder'), or a protected person (e.g., asylee, or refugee).

Responsibilities

  • Sweeps, mops, and sanitizes floors, surfaces, and fixtures in designated common areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Stocks and monitors cleaning supplies and inventory to ensure necessary materials are available for daily operations.
  • Collects and disposes of trash and recycling materials in compliance with organizational and environmental guidelines.
  • Identifies and communicates any facility maintenance needs or repair requests to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Adheres to established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure consistent and effective maintenance of facilities.
  • Assist with Ordering Janitor supplies
