About The Position

A chemical facility in Theodore, AL is seeking a full-time Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order within the facility. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks, material handling, and requires the ability to work independently and respond to quality issues promptly. The position operates on a day shift schedule with potential for weekend work.

Requirements

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and occasionally operating floor buffers.
• Loading and unloading supplies.
• Manually cleaning low-lying areas (baseboards, toilets, floors, etc.).
• Routinely climb ladders and stairs to perform various tasks.
• Ability to respond quickly to identify and correct quality issues.
• Ability to walk distances up to 1 mile.
• Ability to stand for hours at a time.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Standing 75% of the time.
• Walking 25% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
