Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles preferred but not required.
  • Certification in cleaning or sanitation practices.
  • Experience working in commercial, institutional, or hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages to management.
  • Respond promptly to spills, stains, or other cleanliness issues to ensure a safe environment.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting repair needs.
  • Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to minimize risks during cleaning operations.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure cleaning schedules and quality standards are consistently met.
