Janitor - Deep Cleaner (Early Morning Shift)
About The Position
The Deep Cleaning Worker ensures the cleanliness of the casino interior by cleaning carpets, buffing floors, and cleaning ceiling tiles, vents and accessories, typically in the morning. Deep Cleaners also assist kitchen staff with disassembling, sanitizing and reassembling kitchen, deli and bar appliances and hoods. Performs additional job duties as assigned by department management. Now hiring for early morning shifts that begin at 3am or 4am, leaving your afternoons open! Starting wage is $19.70/hr, increasing to $20.29/hr with successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Must have six months experience in general janitorial work
- Experience and knowledge in using cleaning solutions
- Must be able to use various hand tools and cleaning equipment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, squat, sit and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
- Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
- All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
- Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.
