About The Position

Custom Filters Direct is hiring a dependable Janitor/Custodian to keep its manufacturing facility clean, organized, and safe. The role includes daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, warehouse floors, breakrooms, common areas, and outdoor entrances. The position requires taking pride in the work, noticing areas that need attention, and managing cleaning tasks independently. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, at the Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania facility. Pay is $15.00 per hour.

Custom Filters Direct manufactures standard and custom-size HVAC air filters for residential and commercial customers. Its Bloomsburg facility includes manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations.

Requirements

• Dependable attendance and availability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
• Ability to work safely around employees and equipment in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, sweeping, mopping, and moving cleaning supplies and trash, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors in offices, restrooms, hallways, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep warehouse floors and remove litter and debris from designated areas.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, restroom fixtures, and frequently touched surfaces.
• Clean breakroom tables, counters, and other shared surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Restock soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies.
• Keep outdoor entrance areas clean and free of litter, debris, and trash.
• Keep cleaning equipment and supplies clean, organized, and properly stored.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products, tools, and protective equipment.
• Report spills, maintenance concerns, damage, and supply shortages.
• Complete routine cleaning, deep cleaning, and other janitorial tasks as assigned.
