About The Position

CW Resources is hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. This role requires obtaining and maintaining a Security Clearance to access the primary worksite, which is the Library of Congress. The AbilityOne Program, a federal initiative offering employment to adults with disabilities, encourages eligible individuals to apply. The position is Per Diem, as needed, and requires willingness to work outdoors and experience or willingness to learn floor tech skills.

Must have floor tech experience, or be willing to learn floor tech skills.
Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Checking in with supervisor and teammates, reviewing the cleaning schedule and tasks for the day.
Gathering cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment (mops, brooms, vacuums, sanitizers) and loading if needed.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to keep spaces spotless and safe.
Emptying trash bins and replacing liners, recycling responsibly.
Cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
Dusting furniture, fixtures, and vents.
Wiping down windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
Spot-cleaning walls and removing stains or marks.
Performing a final walkthrough to ensure every space is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Restocking cleaning carts.
Reporting any maintenance issues.
Communicating with the supervisor about any site-specific notes or concerns.
Returning equipment and supplies to the storage area and preparing for the next day.
