About The Position

CW Resources is hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. This role is ideal for individuals eligible for the AbilityOne Program, which offers employment opportunities and services to adults with disabilities. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. The position is located at Camp Nett, 38 Smith Street, Niantic, CT 06357, with a shift from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies weighing up to 25-30 pounds regularly.
Training is provided to ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is always required.

Experience in a janitorial or custodial role.

Responsibilities

Check in with supervisor and teammates to go over the cleaning plan and daily tasks.
Gather and load cleaning supplies such as mops, brooms, vacuums, and disinfectants.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Take out the trash and replace bags.
Clean restrooms, refill supplies, and wipe down surfaces like tables, chairs, and doors.
Dust furniture, shelves, and vents.
Wipe windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
Conduct a final walk-through to ensure areas are clean and neat.
Return tools and supplies to the storage area.
