About The Position
The Janitor/Custodian 2 plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within various facilities across the United States. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies and their safe usage.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work.
- Experience working in a commercial or institutional cleaning environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Certification in custodial or cleaning services.

- Basic maintenance skills such as minor repairs or equipment troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure all fixtures are in proper working order.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to supervisors.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for meetings or special events as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests and spills to maintain a safe environment at all times.
