About The Position

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking a Janitor/Cleaner for its Birmingham, AL 35214 location. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas, including sweeping floors, emptying trash, mopping, and performing basic detailing. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a pay rate of $18.00/HR, paid bi-weekly.

Requirements

• Two valid forms of ID (Photo ID & SSC).
• Previous Janitorial / cleaning experience.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work (No public transportation near job site).
• Must be available to start working as soon as possible.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Sweep shop floors.
• Empty shop garbage cans.
• Mop the break room, locker room, and office.
• Perform basic detailing and remove trash from trucks.
• Regularly walk the yard and pick up trash from the parking lot and surrounding areas.
