National Star Services, a facility management company with 27 years of nationwide service, is seeking a Janitor / Cleaner for its Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 location. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean and safe environment across various areas of the facility.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Two valid, updated forms of ID.
• Must have experience in Janitorial/ Cleaning services.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be ready to start working as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and degrease shop floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize office common areas.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and workstations as directed.
• Clean the interiors of trucks (sometimes when needed).
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and shop materials.
• Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
