About The Position

The Jack Driver is responsible for moving product in and out of the coolers/freezers and to different areas in the plant with an electric/manual jack. This role is responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks and special projects, including repairs, installations, and adjustments of machinery and equipment, performing parts replacement, and routine and preventative maintenance.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand English.
Ability to identify items on paperwork.
Ability to communicate verbally with supervisors and associates.
Ability to be trained to use an electric jack safely.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work.

Responsibilities

Moving product in and out of coolers/freezers and to different areas in the plant with an electric/manual jack.
Performing daily maintenance tasks and special projects.
Repairing, installing, and adjusting machinery and equipment.
Performing parts replacement, routine and preventative maintenance.
Efficiently picking customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and transported to the necessary area.
Assembling various types of merchandise for shipment.
Carrying or transporting orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
Stenciling, tagging, or marking orders as requested.
Repacking and weighing any orders that require such handling when necessary.
Reporting quality variances.
Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Constant walking throughout the plant picking and delivering products.
Bending and standing.
Other job duties as needed or assigned by Supervisor.
